Description
This is a popular tourist town just down the coast from Santa Cruz near the Bay Area. I packed my road bike, golf clubs and painting gear into the car for a getaway trip down to Los Angeles, and this was one of my favorite stops. The bright cottage colors and scenic hillside have probably been photo’d and painted a million times. This is a watercolor painting, but I made it less transparent (more opaque) than usual to make the colors very bold.
